Privacy on numbersingreek.com

Updated 8 October 2026

numbersingreek.com is published by Digital Signet, a UK company. This page lists every piece of measurement and browser storage the site uses, so you can check it against what loads. The formal policy that covers the whole Digital Signet portfolio, including your data-protection rights and how to contact us about them, is at digitalsignet.com/legal/privacy.

What runs on this site

Google Analytics 4

Measurement ID G-HL2RQB3VXB, loaded on every page with anonymize_ip switched on. It sets Google Analytics cookies in your browser and tells us how many people read which pages, and which ranges and exercises the worksheet generator is used for. We do not use it to build advertising audiences and we do not link it to any advertising product.

One localStorage key, only if you keep a worksheet

Pressing "Keep this sheet" on the worksheet generator stores a device key under nig-shelf-key. It is the key to your shelf of kept worksheets and nothing else; it is not written until you press Keep, and "Forget this shelf on this device" on the shelf page removes it.

Nothing else

There is no account, no sign-in, no newsletter and no comment form. The number reader, the numeral converter and the worksheet generator run in your browser; what you type into them is not sent to us. The one exception is the worksheet shelf, described below, which stores only what you ask it to.

The worksheet shelf

The worksheet generator works without sending anything anywhere. If you press Keep this sheet, the recipe for that sheet (the number range, exercise type, question count, your optional school or class name and a random seed, about a hundred characters) is stored on a small service we run, so the same sheet and its answer key can be opened again from its address. Your device keeps a key to your shelf in localStorage. There is no account and no password.

If you ask for your shelf by email, we store that address with the shelf and send you a single-use link that works for seven days. The email goes through Microsoft Azure Communication Services and we do not send anything else to it. We do not store anything about students: a kept sheet is a recipe, not a filled-in page.

To remove everything, open your shelf and choose Delete the shelf and every sheet on it; that deletes the recipes, the email address and the keys at once. Kept sheets that nobody deletes are retained while the service runs; sheets that are not kept are not stored.

The shelf is not switched on yet on this site: the Keep button appears once the service is running here, and this section describes how it works when it does.

Audio

The play buttons use the Web Speech API built into your browser, with your device's Greek voice, and only appear when the device has one. On some phones and browser builds the speech engine is a service run by the browser or operating-system vendor, which means the word being spoken can be sent to that vendor by your browser. That path is between your browser and its vendor; it does not come to us.

No advertising

No advertising network runs on this site: no ad tag, no retargeting pixel and no third-party ad frame on any page. If that changes, this page changes with it before the tag ships.

Links out

Pages link to the sources they rely on, such as the Centre for the Greek Language and the published grammars named on each page. Those are plain reference links with no tracking parameter. Once you follow one you are on that site and its own privacy policy applies.
